Betsey Mulloy and Diana Eichler, both Reston artists, will join the artists at the ValeArts Fall ART Show October 1, 2, and 3. Betsey has begun a new series of paintings which reflects her interest in the "aquamedia" and the abstraction of stained glass. Her work, Betsey says is "color-full!" Her six trips to Uganda have played a large part in her creative styles as well. She has gravitated to the colors of Africa in this series, terra cotta, teal, turquoise, hot pinks. She is enthusiastic about the Fall Show, the 15th annual for ValeArts which has shown at this venue each Fall. Diana's work reflects the time she has spent in France, Napa, and Half Moon Bay. An oil painter, Diana is proud to present a wide selection of paintings at the show. More than 135 paintings by 9 artists will be on display for the October 1, 3, and 3 show at the Vale Schoolhouse at 3124 Fox Mill Rd. The traditional venue of the one-room school will exhibit watercolors, oils, collage, and mixed media....all original and all local. Families are welcome and encouraged!
